Natural gas market operator UAB GET Baltic in order to inform all the natural gas market participants and other interested parties about trading on the natural gas Exchange has announced Report of Trade on Natural Gas Exchange of the first half of 2013. The first trading session of the Natural Gas Exchange was opened on 21 January of this year. In first half of 2013, 448 thou. m3 of natural gas were traded on the Exchange. There were 38 deals realized, the highest volume of the fulfilled deal was 40 thou. m3.
The average price was 1294 LTL/thou. m3 in first half of this year on the Exchange. The highest price of fulfilled deal was 1308 LTL/thou. m3, executed on 25 February, the lowest price of fulfilled deal was 1275 LTL/thou. m3, executed on 19 June and 20 June. The difference between the highest and the lowest price of fulfilled deal was 33 LTL.
During the first half of this year there were 9 Exchange participants registered on the Exchange, 5 of them have the supply licence for natural gas, which grants the right to sell natural gas on the Exchange.
